Installation Guide

Follow these steps to connect your TV to the ScreenBlink platform. You will need your TV remote and a computer or smartphone.

1

Prepare your TV

Ensure your TV or media player (Fire TV Stick, Android Box) is:

  • Plugged into power and turned on.
  • Connected to the internet via WiFi or Ethernet.
  • Signed in to the relevant app store (Google Play or Amazon).
2

Download the App (On TV)

Using your TV remote, navigate to the search function of your app store.

For Android TV / Google TV:

Open Google Play Store → Search for "ScreenBlink".

For Amazon Fire TV:

Go to Find/Search → Type "ScreenBlink".

Select the app icon (Blue 'S' on white background) and select Install or Get.

3

Get Pairing Code (On TV)

Open the ScreenBlink app on your TV.

You will see a welcome screen displaying a unique 6-digit code (e.g., A4B-99X).

Keep this screen open. Do not turn off the TV.
4

Connect Account (On Computer/Phone)

Leave the TV running. On your computer or smartphone:

  1. Log in to your ScreenBlink Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Screens tab.
  3. Click Add New Screen.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code displayed on your TV.
  5. Give your screen a name (e.g., "Lobby TV").

Success! Your TV screen will refresh and show your default content.

Troubleshooting

I can't find the app on my TV.

Ensure your TV runs Android TV (version 9+) or is a Fire TV device. Some older smart TVs (Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS) are not natively supported yet; for these, we recommend plugging in an Amazon Fire TV Stick ($30).

The pairing code expired.

Pairing codes refresh every 15 minutes for security. Simply press the "Refresh Code" button on your TV remote or restart the app to generate a new one.

TV says "Offline".

Check your TV's WiFi connection in the TV system settings. The ScreenBlink app requires an active internet connection to download new content updates.
